Join us on for two virtual workshops for parents and married couples on October 24th and 25th at 8:30pm!
The Diocese of Fort-Wayne South Bend is hosting Mike and Alicia Hernon at two special workshops for parents and married couples. These virtual events are designed to give you tools and encouragement to help you in your vital role within the Church. You are encouraged to attend with your spouse but coming solo is great too. Please invite family and friends anywhere in the diocese to join you!
Attendance is free, but you need to register below. We look forward to seeing you there!
Each session will begin with prayer and a talk by Mike and Alicia. Following the talk you are encouraged to grab a snack, a glass of wine (or bourbon!) and reflect on the talk using a download available to all participants. After that, we will have time for Q&A as well as a closing prayer.
- Oct 24th 8:30pm Talk: Messy Parenting 101. It is a myth that there is a perfect way to be a parent. The reality is that every family, every couple, every child is different but when parents work together, they can figure it out.
- Oct 25th 8:30pm Talk: Keeping Love Alive. The grace to be a mother or father comes from the Sacrament of Marriage. Realizing this is the first step to become an effective parent. When parents strengthen their marriage they are able to love their children more effectively and create a community of faith and love within the home.
