Cana 90 – Sixth Week of Easter
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give it to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid.”
Many people speak about “world peace”. In fact there are many good people who strive to help attain this peace; unfortunately much of the world is trying to achieve this coveted peace without pursuing Jesus First.
Jesus make the message of peace very clear. He (Jesus) gives us peace. Not just peace in an amorphous way, but His peace! He also clearly states that His peace is not the same as the peace of the “world” and we can infer that because He is the Word that spoke the world into existence His peace far surpasses that of the World.
As we move toward Pentecost and putting our families mission into action in the world we must be vigilant to root our peace and hearts in Christ Jesus.
What are the staples in your life you need to stay rooted in the Peace of Christ?
How can you carve out time and activities to develop a deeper relationship with Jesus and remain rooted in His peace this year?
